Live Your Life With Pure Comfort.

Clara regularly does an annual check-up with her doctor around her birthday every year.    In the middle of 2020, her usual results were very different.  Her doctor cautioned her on her cholesterol readings and suggested that she make some changes in order to live her best life going forward.

Even though Clara had no unusual, extraordinary feelings of unwellness, she decided to pay attention.  She loves life and wants to continue to live the best, high quality, super energetic person that she is, for as long as she possibly can.  So she took action.  Her mode of choice was to become a member of Pure Comfort Weight Loss and Wellness Program.  She was familiar with the leadership style and positive results of Lydia Ferguson, Founder/CEO of PC since her time as owner of Weight Watcher’s Bahamas franchise and decided to follow this route.

The camaraderie and lessons at the weekly sessions were comfortable and easy for Clara to commit to.  This, she says, helped her to reach her goal weight like a winner.  She joined PC in November 2020 and crossed the finish line, reaching her weight loss goal of 51.6 pounds on July 30, 2021.  It was purely comfortable. She formed a close and friendly bond with like members at her Saturday morning meetings, sharing fun stories of her weight loss challenges and successes, food choices and experiments, exercise methods and tracking her daily choices on her Pure Comfort Wellness App.  Most of the members of her group looked forward to hearing her stories because Clara’s was adamant about her strict adherence to her organizational plan.  Her by-line was: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”  Once she found her niche, adjusted her behavioral methods to the Pure Comfort model, she committed and stuck to her plan.  Almost every week, her success could be measured on the scale.  By the end of September, Clara had arrived at her weightloss goal.

Her exercise stories were always exciting to listen to.  Clara is a dancer at heart and her co-members loved hearing about her club dancing days of her youth and how she re-invented her movement/exercise to sweat, firm and tone her body on her journey to her weight loss goal.  The music she moves and grooves to is disco and the popular R&B of the 70’s and 80’s.  She certainly made her exercise fun and enjoyable and an activity she will never tire of. Whether she is travelling, or the weather is not amenable on the outside, Clara can take to the floor of her bedroom or whatever space that is available and enjoys her new fitness lifestyle.

Clara shared that once she got a handle on her planning time for her meal preparations, she was good to go.  As a principal of an elementary school by day, her well-practiced organizational skills helped her to stay on track and her process showed in her consistent, meticulous record keeping.

Her advice to persons who need to lose weight is simple, she says: It’s all about the planning.  “Take time out every two to three days and make sure your pantry or cupboards are always filled with what you need to stay on track”.  She took great pride in prepping for her meals and always shared how she weighed and measured her meals according to her trusty PC app selection that was specifically designed for her personal body type, weight, and goal plan.

Clara has already set her sights on staying in the Pure Comfort Zone to keep her winning streak a lifetime transformation.  She will continue to attend meetings weekly because she firmly believes that the group support is an important part of her continued success.
